Caledonian Industries
Caledonian Industries Ltd was founded in 1974 as Caledonian Rubber to manufacture engine mountings for the newly established Chrysler plant in Linwood.
Diversifying into the production of cushioned packaging, technical and acoustic foams, Caledonian became a key supplier to the Electronic and Whisky sectors in Scotland. During 1999 Caledonian Industries Ltd acquired Ferguson & Timpson Ltd, established in 1904 to supply Seals and Gaskets to the Marine Industry before diversifying into the supply of high temperature, high pressure seals for downhole tools in the Oil and Gas industry.
2010 saw Caledonian Industries acquire Alpress Hydraulic Services to complement in-house maintenance and to supply Hydraulic Engineering services to a wide range of industries throughout Scotland.
In 2016 Caledonian acquired Kayfoam Ltd and Foamline, expanding the foam products range, resulting in Caledonian Group becoming the largest foam convertor and supplier in the country.

Caledonian Industries Ltd acquired Ferguson & Timpson Ltd, suppliers of high temperature, high pressure seals for downhole tools in the Oil and Gas industry.
2010
Alpress Hydraulic Services
2010 saw Caledonian Industries acquire Alpress Hydraulic Services to complement in-house maintenance and to supply Hydraulic Engineering services.
2016
Kayfoam Ltd
In 2016 Caledonian acquired Kayfoam Ltd and Foamline, expanding the foam products range, becoming the largest foam convertor and supplier in the country.
2022
New Industrial Unit
Kayfoam takes over the largest unit in the new West 100 development at Hillington Park which will allow the business to push forward its ambitious growth plans.
