SUB-ASSEMBLY
The sub-assembly processes that we carry out involve mainly the application of self-adhesive, die-cut components, of our own manufacture, to plastic injection moulded components or metal pressings. We have developed our bonding techniques to include, as an alternative to the use of self-adhesives, the roller coating of hot-melt adhesives to components, prior to their final assembly. Applications involving mechanical fasteners represent another form of sub-assembly with which we are involved. Within our Atholl Avenue Plant, an area has been equipped with sub-assembly benches, to enable us to operate and control the processes involved under the best possible working conditions.
